These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website weinlah.sg and any related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by WeinLah (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing our Site or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or place any orders.
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
1. Eligibility & Age Restriction
1.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use our Site and to purchase alcohol in Singapore. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
1.2 It is an offence under Singapore law for any person under 18 to purchase or attempt to purchase liquor, and an offence to supply or deliver liquor to anyone under 18. Offenders may be liable for fines of up to S$10,000 under the Liquor Control (Supply and Consumption) Act 2015 and its Regulations.
1.3 By using our Site or placing an order, you warrant that all information you provide is truthful and accurate. Any attempt to misrepresent your age or to purchase alcohol on behalf of a minor may result in cancellation of your order, refusal of delivery, and other actions as permitted by law.
2. Use of the Site
2.1 By using the Site, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations in Singapore.
2.2 You may not use the Service or any product purchased from us for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose, including but not limited to the infringement of intellectual property rights or violation of licensing or alcohol regulations.
2.3 You must not transmit any viruses, malware or any code of a destructive nature through the Site.
2.4 We reserve the right to refuse Service, terminate accounts or cancel orders at our sole discretion, including where we suspect fraud, abuse or breach of these Terms.
3. Account Registration & Security
3.1 You may be required to create an account to access certain features or place orders. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate information and to keep it updated.
3.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. If you suspect unauthorised use, you should change your password and notify us immediately.
3.3 We may suspend or cancel your account if we believe it has been compromised or misused.
4. Product Information, Availability & Pricing
4.1 We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images and pricing on the Site are accurate. However, we do not warrant that all information is complete, current or error-free. Any reliance on the material on this Site is at your own risk.
4.2 All products are subject to availability. We may limit quantities, change products or discontinue items at any time without prior notice.
4.3 Prices are displayed in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and, unless stated otherwise, are inclusive of applicable duties and GST, as applicable. Delivery charges (if any) are shown separately at checkout.
4.4 We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders already accepted by us.
4.5 If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, we are not obliged to supply it to you at that price. We may cancel the order and issue a refund, or contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price.
5. Orders & Contract Formation
5.1 When you place an order on our Site, this is an offer to purchase the products in your cart in accordance with these Terms.
5.2 We may accept or reject your order at our discretion. Acceptance occurs when we send you an order confirmation email and/or when we dispatch the products. Until then, we are under no obligation to supply the products.
5.3 We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order, for reasons including but not limited to:
Product unavailability
Suspicion of fraud or unauthorised activity
Incorrect pricing or product information
Breach of age restrictions or applicable laws
If your order is cancelled after payment has been taken, we will refund you the relevant amount.
6. Payment
6.1 Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering via the payment methods offered at checkout (e.g. credit/debit card, other approved providers).
6.2 You represent and warrant that you are authorised to use the payment method provided and that the payment details are accurate.
6.3 Orders will only be processed after we have received full payment authorisation from our payment service providers.
6.4 All invoices and receipts for purchases made through our Site are issued electronically and sent to the email address provided at checkout. WeinLah does not issue hard copy invoices or receipts by post. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their email address is correct and accessible for invoice delivery. Electronic invoices issued by WeinLah comply with the requirements of the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) and constitute valid proof of purchase for all transactions made through the Site.
7. Delivery within Singapore
7.1 We currently deliver only within Singapore. We do not offer international shipping unless explicitly stated.
7.2 Delivery fees, where applicable, will be displayed at checkout. From time to time, we may offer free or discounted delivery subject to minimum order values or promotional terms.
7.3 Estimated delivery timeframes are provided for your reference and are not guaranteed. While we strive to deliver on time, we are not liable for delays caused by courier issues, traffic, weather, public holidays or other circumstances beyond our control.
7.4 Products will be delivered to the address specified in your order. It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery details are accurate and complete.
7.5 At the point of delivery, we (or our delivery partner) may require proof of age and identity. If a suitable recipient aged 18 or over is not available, or if age cannot be verified, we may refuse to complete the delivery and may arrange a re-delivery at your cost or cancel the order and refund at our discretion (less any delivery or handling costs incurred).
7.6 Once delivery is completed (including where products are left at a location you have authorised), risk in the products passes to you. Please check your order on receipt and notify us promptly of any issues.
8. Risk & Title
8.1 Risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you upon delivery to the delivery address or collection point you specified.
8.2 Ownership of the products passes to you only when full payment has been received and delivery has been completed.
9. Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations
9.1 Due to the nature of wine and perishable goods, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind once products have been delivered in good condition.
9.2 If you receive products that are damaged, incorrect, or of unsatisfactory quality, please contact us promptly with your order details and photos of the issue.
9.3 Requests relating to corked or faulty wines may require the return of the remaining bottle for assessment before a replacement, refund, or credit can be issued.

10. Promotions, Vouchers & Gift Cards
10.1 From time to time, we may offer promotions, discount codes, vouchers or gift cards. These are subject to the specific terms stated at the time of issuance and may have:

10.2 Promotions are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
10.3 We reserve the right to modify or withdraw any promotion at any time, including where we suspect misuse, fraud, or breach of these Terms.
11. User Content (Reviews, Comments, Submissions)
11.1 If you submit reviews, comments, suggestions or other content (“User Content”) to the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish and display such content in connection with our business.
11.2 You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content:
Is accurate and not misleading
Does not infringe the rights (including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights) of any third party
Is not defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, offensive or unlawful
11.3 We may, but are not obliged to, monitor, edit or remove User Content that we consider inappropriate or in violation of these Terms.

To upload or transmit viruses, malware or any destructive code
To attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Site, other systems or user accounts
To scrape, crawl or harvest data from the Site without our prior written consent
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site if we believe you have breached this clause.

14.1 Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated or controlled by us. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or terms of those third-party sites.
14.2 Your use of third-party sites and services is at your own risk. You should review their terms and policies before using them.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
15.1 The Site and all products and Services provided through it are offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, except as required by law.
15.2 We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
15.3 We do not warrant that the quality of any products, Services or information purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, although we strive to maintain high standards and quality control.
16. Limitation of Liability
16.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or purchase of products.
16.2 Our total liability to you in respect of any claim arising under these Terms or in relation to the purchase of products shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the order giving rise to the claim.
16.3 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WeinLah, its directors, employees, agents and partners from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

19. Alcohol & Health Warning
19.1 Alcohol should be consumed responsibly and in moderation. It is unsafe and unlawful to drink and drive.
19.2 Pregnant persons and individuals with specific medical conditions should seek medical advice before consuming alcohol.
19.3 Some wines, especially older bottles or sparkling wines, may carry inherent risks (e.g. cork breakage, pressure in sparkling bottles). Care should be taken when opening and handling all bottles.
20. Changes to the Service or Terms
20.1 We may modify or discontinue the Site, any part of the Service, or any product at any time without prior notice.
